These fans should be ashamed

We need to talk about Jordan Kyrou and the Craig Berube situation. All that and more as we look at the St Louis Blues on today’s video!

  1. What a terrible take. Naw the fans pay they can boo whoever they want guys making 8 million, been awful this season and showed no respect for a cup winning coach

  2. Actions have consequences. If he had only said, I have no comment sorry… instead of "he's not my coach anymore", Kyrou wouldn't have drawn the ire of the Blues fans. I don't buy into this at all. He's a big boy playing in the big boys league. Stop acting like a child.

  3. Eh I mean from the fans perspective they thought he was disrespecting maybe the best STL coach ever. Imagine if Jon Cooper got fired and Stamkos was just like "don't care, not my coach anymore." Wouldn't fans rightly be upset? I understand there is context and nuance but it's absolutely fair for the fans to be upset at the comment.

  4. Andy should have had the sense to back off when he saw Jordan breaking. The interview should have ended then. Berube hasn't bought a beer in the Lou since 2019 and the city truly revered the Chief. The business of NHL is reality. The whole fuckin' team deserved the boos. Not just Kyrou.

  5. Kyrou is not liked by many hardcore fans because his lack of effort on the backcheck, which is why him and berube didn't get along. The fans who don't like him feel like he doesn't give enough effort. So when a guy that people think wants to play lazy and not do anything on defense, has a comment that can read as "i don't care about him, not my problem anymore"…look tf out.

  6. Get over it, they booed him for one game. I'm a Sens fan and when the fans booed them earlier this season for playing like shit Brady shot back at the fans. Bad move. They are playing like shit, and the captain needs to own up to it. The fans pay for the league to even exist, so be careful how you treat them. Cheers

  7. If your team is playing shitty, im good with booing them, a player on your team does something disgusting or fucked up, good boo them. But just for saying "I have no comment, hes not my coach any more" is not a valid reason to boo a player. Fans should feel ashamed, I feel bad for him, reporters should also feel ashamed, if you notice someone getting emotional you dont jumo down their thoats you either A) let that player go, or B) give them a minute to compose them selves and then get back to the real reason your there.

  8. …none of the fans were in locker room, ever, and have no idea what relationships are like, between coach and players, player to player, etc…., feel for the guy, not too much though, cuz i'm sure his millions will help to sooth him…just sayin'…

  9. Ashamed????????? Of boo'ing??
His play is trash. Hes one of the highest contracts on the team. He cant play a lick of defense. And his coach gets fired because of his (and others) lack of effort. Management isnt going to trade him. So why not boo him??? Its not like they threw stuff at him. …. were they supposed to cheer????

What a brainless comment for a video title.

  10. I think Kyrou could have given a better answer (maybe something more diplomatic or along the lines of "he brought us a cup and our team had great success with him as the coach") but the fans booing him was too far. Heck, as a Blues fan myself I've been frustrated with Kyrou's inconsistency and lack of commitment to playing defense but the booing was embarrassing.

Kind of annoying how players are expected to give canned responses to these questions. Feels like aside from a few exceptions that the NHL beats the personality out of its players.

  11. St. Louis lost its Midwest Winter Sport of Football and those fans migrated to the Blues .
Football fans are short on temperament and long on expectations.
It comes with that shorter season mentality.

  12. shows how ruthless and spoiled blues fans are. If only game 7 of the 2019 finals went to boston instead of them so they know how it feels to be taunted

  13. I dont think Kyrou saying he had no comment about Berube's firing was supposed to be disrespectful at all. He probably didn't want to be thinking or talk about that situation before a game. Just speculation tho

  14. I think it’s more the change: what leaders from the cup run are still there? O’Reilly, Tarasenko, pietrangelo, Allen. They’re all gone. The new wave has no real connection with berube

  15. He's underperforming and talked shit and the fans let him know that wasn't cool and him crying just outed him as a softy

  16. I seriously hope Kyrou asks to get traded. That fanbase doesn't deserve him. They showed us all the fiber of their fabric after the Kadri/Binner episode. This latest garbage is just more icing on the shitty cake.

  17. The people who booed represent the trash of St. Louis. I didn't expect that at all because St. Louis has always been a great sports city but booing Kyrou for trying to avoid a controversial question and not giving the perfect answer on the spot just shows how dumb and toxic people still are.
