Get hanifan with him. Here's my Pitch. Trade Debrusk, First round, Lysell, forbert, one other prospect, (Not Poitras, Beecher or Lorieri). Maybe Gerbikov (Spell) for hanifan and Elias Lindholm and 3rd round pick. Flames retain some contract on both players. Maybe they have to send Carlo instead of Forbert. That could help the money make sense.

Lets face it. We are winning but nobody actually knows how.. Marchand is the only guy playing above his potential. I don't like trading Debrusk. I feel once they get their lines set, the boys will begin clicking like last season. What they really need is someone who can win a faceoff consistently. The only guy standing out, playing beyond expectation is Swayman. They need to use JVR where he is good.. Low in the zone around the net. I feel Debrusk will find his groove and start scoring goals in bunches.

Last year, Sweeney attempted to acquire more mettle in the lineup with Bertuzzi, Orlov and Hathaway. It's questionable how much they contributed against Florida. They had A.J. Greer who played physically whenever he was in. He was good in that department with Frederic. This year, Greer, Bertuzzi, Orlov and Hathaway are gone with no one on the club aside from Frederic to provide pushback. In the spirit of what we always hear from Montgomery in being tough to play against, this club doesn't seem to be. I want them to trade for a rugged forward, preferably a center and a baggage-smashing D guy to augment the skill on the roster. Any deal going the other way should include Matt-Gritless.

living on the west coast…watched alot of flames. lindholm is NO first line center. a very reliable second.calgary offered him 9m..he turned it down.
