As a Caps fan, it's nice to get 2 points, but I really feel like we should just go back to giving out 1 point to each team for a tie instead of having these shootouts. This really doesn't feel like a win, it feels like a tie. Just like the game against the Flyers earlier this week. These games should just be a tie, no extra point for the shootout winner.
