I don’t envy the players safety’s job.
He clearly targeted the senators player with intent to injure. I understand red wings fans being upset but if you look at the slow motion of the hit to Larkin he got a glove to the side of his face and imo the injury came with the other hit. Guys take gloves to the face every game I don’t think Ottawa players did a thing wrong

I totally agree with your comment on the hit to Larkin, I also see it more from Kelly than Joseph. We have seen the same thing!
Perron has never been suspended and gave him 6 games should not have been more than 3 games. So Gudbranson gets 1 game and with his history should have got more. We all know with the long history of Marchand, Wilson, etc they wouldn't got anything close to what Perron got. Meanwhile Larkin is IR and Joseph gets nothing. Joseph should have been out as long Larkin. It appears that it is open season on Red Wing players because the league will not call penalties on hits from behind. Eg: Ghost, Debrincat and Larkin. Perros is a joke.

LMFAO The Player Safety Board is a royal joke, David Perron a 6 game suspension on a Non-Injury to Zub yet Joseph and Kelly knock out Dylan Larkin and nothing happens. It's basically screw you Detroit and the rest of the league gets awa with murder.
As a Wings fan…Perron deserved a suspension, dude lost his cool in the heat of the moment. I think six is a little steep given his track record, but is what it is. My issue is how in the hell does Joseph get away with just a two minute minor on this ?!?!? Dude was looking Larks straight in the eyes when he punched him in the back of the head. Plus, he has a history of going after Larkin…gave him a nasty cross check into the boards from behind back in ‘21 when he was with Tampa. Joseph and Cousins got away with murder this weekend, and in typical fashion…crickets from Department of Player Safety

Joseph should have been suspended for his hit and all on-ice officials need to be suspended 4 not going to help Larkin or even caring about his health….they only stood around and did not go to assist Larkin
Okay Larkin was out for the season against Tampa that one year and now another bad injury and no suspension from that Tampa player and now the sens player dosn’tget one and Perron gets one
Joseph punched good Larkin in the head and then it looked like Larkin hit his head on the ice.
