On today’s bonus episode of Locked On Stars, Joey breaks down the Dallas Stars 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets led by Wyatt Johnston who scored a short handed goal and picked up an assist on Matt Duchene’s power play goal. The Stars power play has left much to be desired, but they get one from Duchene and the PK continues to be brilliant as they go 4 for 4 against the Jets. Scott Wedgewood made 31 saves as he wins back to back starts and was great down the stretch when Winnipeg created a lot of chances. Thomas Harley and Nils Lundkvist both had great games on the backend with Harley scoring his 3rd goal of the season leading all Stars defenseman. Joey thinks it was their most complete road game of the year so far, do you agree? The Stars play the back end of their back to back tomorrow evening in Minnesota against the Wild.

Earp really beginning to shine. The Machine Gun line (Mush-Chene-Guin) is the defacto line 1 at the moment, and Harley is now top10 in d-man goals. Happy to see Suter silencing critics – even though he and Miro got beat on that first GA.
At this point I almost just want to see them roll 4 lines on the power play. I can’t really be any worse than what they’ve got now

Wyatt Johnson and Matt Duchene were key in the Victory against the Winnipeg Jets. Scott Wedgewood was great between the pipes, he’s a solid backup to Oettinger. The power play will be key 🔑 in games down the road against the bigger competition in the NHL even though they did score needs to be stronger, more chances. The 2nd unit looks very good, play it more??? I feel like Wedgewood and winning in the face off circle helped win this game.
Maybe Mrs. Pavs should cook for the entire team???
