What’s the reason Vilardi has 300 less games at approximately same age as the others?

I like the comparison since it’s the path we took to get Vilardi.
Laine will never again be as good as he was when he was here. He was surrounded by much higher talent in Winnipeg and he needs others to create space for him to score. He’s not gonna get that in Columbus.
Dubois has been solid for his two previous teams but burned out in both and forced his way out. From the outside it looked like selfishness motivated his moves which makes you question his presence in the locker room.
Vilardi has the worst career ppg but was a 3rd liner in LA and averaged 15:36 TOI last year. He’ll get more opportunities here and should be the best piece for the Jets from that great trade that added so much depth to our team.

I often wonder if Laine regrets asking for a trade out of WPG.

Love bashing Dubois, but he is on a team that mostly runs 2 lines, with 2 centres ahead of him that have earned their keep
Ridiculously expensive for a third liner, but if his defensive game tightens up and he is promoted, the contract won’t look as stupid. LA doesn’t need him to be rocking the boat right now

Iafallo has been very useful as well, and don’t forget the extra draft pick (from Montreal of all places lol) could be used for a rental, or development.

So what should we offer Vilardi and Perfetti? Maybe 5x6mil each?

If it wasn’t for posts like this, I would have forgotten that PLD played for us.

You forgot these stats:
|Player|Whiney Bitching|Feelings Hurt|Team Player|
|:-|:-|:-|:-|
|Laine|+465 (NHL) +7463 (career)|daily|+0|
|Dubois|+333|weekly|+21|
|Vilardi|+0|+1 (unconfirmed)|Every damn game|
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate any of these guys.
I am happy two of the three no longer play for us.
I’m not entirely sure PLD and Laine truly love hockey. Almost like it’s forced.
