NHL Highlights | Wild vs. Penguins – December 18, 2023
Sidney Crosby moved into 13th in the all-time points list with a pair of points and Evgeni Malkin and Jake Guentzel added a goal and assist each as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Minnesota Wild 4-3.
Crosby is playing at such an elite level for his age. It's really a testament to how much of a great player he is. He only needs 2-3 more seasons at this pace to be Top 5 of all-time for points.
That baseball player must've been a good luck charm, because as soon as he left the broadcasting booth, that's when Minnesota started coming back. Thank gawd for Crosby's PP goal. Also, Hartman is one sketchy player. Okay, he got high-sticked (even though he caused it by lifting Zohorna's stick – like Lucas Raymond did to himself a couple weeks ago), but before the refs could check him for blood to determine if Zohorna's penalty was a double minor, he ran off to the Wild dressing room, so they had no choice but to assess a double-minor. Rather skeevy move that I didn't like.
What a joke by Letang on drawing the PP that led to the 4th goal by Pittsburgh. He skates into Kaprizovs stick and dives like hes playing soccer, and somehow the ref falls for it.
