David Pastrnak charging on Ryan Lindgren – Tough Call Recommendation
David Pastrnak received a match penalty for boarding on this hit to Ryan Lindgren. I’m mystified at the lack of follow up by the Department of Player Safety.
I almost feel like it could cross into the malicious category given the history of these two. They've been going back and forth the last 2 years. Good call to mention the charging aspect as well, seems like most are just looking at the impact. He skates right into it, no planting of his feet. I think this warranted at least 1 game under current NHL rules
its a major penalty doesn't warrant a suspension. Lingren has a problem of not keeping his head up. A quick youtube search will show you. Part of the responsibility is for Lingren to know where he is,
