The guy crowds the plate to start with and then leans further toward the plate as the pitch is on the way. The pitch was literally like two inches inside. It was only close to his head because he's intentionally putting his head close to the plate. If you're going to take the approach when hitting then you're assuming that risk. Stop freaking fuck out over something YOU caused.

Honestly, I don’t understand why ppl get mad when they get hit.
The pitcher absolutely did not intentionally try to hit the batter, and the batter should also be prepared and accept the possibility of getting hit.
To add to this, Ohtani apologized so it seems childish to be angry at such a high level of baseball like the MLB
