  1. The guy crowds the plate to start with and then leans further toward the plate as the pitch is on the way. The pitch was literally like two inches inside. It was only close to his head because he's intentionally putting his head close to the plate. If you're going to take the approach when hitting then you're assuming that risk. Stop freaking fuck out over something YOU caused.

  2. Who tf gets mad at ohtani lol. Knowin him, he didn’t mean it. Also he wouldn’t even hit someone for no reason, let alone at all

  3. career .240 hitter thinks Shohei Ohtani is targeting him.

Bum thinks Star is in awe of Bum's talents.

  4. Weird to me that his reaction was to assume Ohtani did it on purpose. Dude has been a class act since day 1.

Announcer got it right. Don’t crowd the plate and then be surprised when one runs a little close.

  5. I swear the 2020's is the decade of humble legendary athletes. Nikola Jokic, Erling Haaland, and Shohei Ohtani are all legends in the making who seem to show so much respect for their teammates and opponents.

  6. Honestly, I don’t understand why ppl get mad when they get hit.
The pitcher absolutely did not intentionally try to hit the batter, and the batter should also be prepared and accept the possibility of getting hit.
To add to this, Ohtani apologized so it seems childish to be angry at such a high level of baseball like the MLB

  7. Doesn't matter what happened afterwards. NO PITCHER (or unicorn) should be throwing fastballs at batters heads.

  8. The tall respectful friend and the short friend ready to throw hands Ohtani and Suzuki

  9. EVERY pitcher has a ball get out of control. This dude thinking Ohtani going for his head??? Laughable. Sit down.

  10. Ohtani would never intentionally hit anyone and everyone knows it. Too much class and confidence in his abilities. There’s isn’t an evil bones in his body. He just wants to play ball and be the best.
