Will confirm after skate, but based on morning skate reps, looks like Wings preparing to have Dylan Larkin in the lineup tonight when they play the Ducks.

Looks like the guy with the “inside intel” that Larkin’s neck was constantly swelling was indeed full of shit.

Hope this breathes some life into our line up and he’s back to 100%. Don’t wanna rush him back. Although, I’ll be at the game tonight wearing my Larkin RR2.0 jersey so… LGRW 🐙

I hope he’s okay. The team did a little better in his absence than in previous years, but this was absolutely a “when it rains it pours” situation with Compher, goalie collapse, and the Wings annual December slog.

  4. Fuck yeah. Wheel team is back, baby. Fingers crossed.

Where’s that fuckin guy that said he was never going to play again yesterday

It’s wrong for him tocome back so early. He was literally knocked out. It can take a couple of months to heal after a knockout+concussion. I just hope he can play as long as he can because these injuries will keep reoccurring once he gets older. In my opinion, with his history of head/neck injuries, this will be his last contract with the wings.

  7. I really hope he’s feeling good and rested

Without larkin, compher, perron, even kostin, this team looks rough offensively.

The best Christmas gift would be a fully healthy roster. ~~We’ve only seen one game with everyone (against San Jose)~~ We haven’t had a game with our current roster fully in place, compher was out against san jose

It could be a really fun team to watch when everyone’s healthyish

Dylan catches a lot of flack about not being a true #1 center blah blah blah, but this team looks much different when he’s in the lineup. He’s the heart of the team.

Don’t touch our captain. Set the tone boys, set the tone now.

If anyone so much as looks at Larkin for too long I want Kostin partaking in fisticuffs with them

This would be amazing news. I highly doubt they would rush him back if he weren’t fully ready. Head shots need to be eliminated from the game, they bring no entertainment value for most people. Set ungodly fines for every headshot, accidental or not. Players will learn to play more safely. I’m all for clean hits and keeping the NHL as a tough league. There’s no reason for putting your hands and stick above someone’s shoulders.

  12. And it probably doesn’t need to be said, but Czarnik would be the guy out of the lineup.

Hockey aside, I’m just so happy that Dylan didn’t have anything serious result from what happened. Seeing him out cold was scary to say the least.

Now let’s get back at it. I feel a win tonight.

I just hope we can keep him for the rest of the season.

    Protect your captain.

This wouldn’t happen again if Yzerman was on the ice.
