Klingberg illegal check to the head on Hagel – Have your say!
John Klingberg was given a minor penalty for this hit on Brandon Hagel, which was deemed an illegal check to the head. What do you think? Have your say!
With Hagel being hunched over and Klingberg being taller, I don't think this was warranted to be honest. Not a hit you want to see, but not intentional by any means.
I don't like the fact that he elevates his shoulder/ arm. The opponent has his head down, but I think that any upward motion by the hitter should disqualify him from that defense.

Not intentional….and not a clear hit to the head either, in my opinion. He was hit just around shoulder/high chest area.
I don’t think it was intentional either, but it’s still a penalty. I don’t think it warrants supplemental, though.

not intentional, but a bad hit. Very predictable result, Klingberg could have controlled the outcome better
Hagel literally crashed into klingberg, maybe the bozo needs to keep his head up and watch where he’s going
He took away the open ice , 2 mins for being bigger than Hagel! He even pulled away when he knew Hagel didn't look up to see him !
That was Klinberg bracing for Hagel coming in. Hagel being hunched over is the only reason any head contact was made. And then the flop was hilarious
I'm gonna say give or take for me but I don't think thus should have been 5 min should a 2 min for Klinger being bigger than Hagel in that situation.
