The Prince George Cougars defeated the T-Birds 2-1 in a shootout on February 5 at CN Centre. Andrej Kukuca scored for the T-Birds and Ilijah Colin scored for Prince George in regulation. Vladislav Mikhalchuk and Cole Moberg scored in the shootout for the Cougars and Simon Kubicek scored for the T-Birds. Roddy Ross had 24 saves and Taylor Gauthier had 34 saves.
