Jordan Kyrou gets booed on home ice following Craig Berube comments

12/14/23 Blues vs Senators

This was the first Blues’ game following the firing of head coach Craig Berube. When asked about his former coach, Kyrou stated “I’ve got no comment. He’s not my coach anymore.”

Later during the post game interview, Kyrou broke down into tears when asked about feeling emotional. “It’s just tough, right. Like, you know, I love playing here, so it’s just tough to hear the fans booing me.”

  1. Kyrou is still a young guy, and a human being, give him a break. All that matters is the team gets the W and the players have each others backs.

  2. I was at the game, while high in the rafters, I honestly did not hear the boos or was anyone around me doing the same. If you look at Kyrou's points he is at 18 for 29 or so games. That is not bad, if you flipped the assists and goals would you all be happy? Is your problem with him that Craig was riding him and you still think he is the rented mule? He'll come around.

  3. If Kyrou was on pace to score 30 goals, he wouldn’t have gotten the boos. No matter what he said. But, he’s on pace to score around 12 goals in the first year of his $8 million contract and he’s a defensive nightmare on many nights. His s**t play this season played a big role in getting Berube fired, that’s why he was booed. The only thing wrong with booing his poor play was that it should have started happening long before Berube was fired.

  4. I truly hope he finds a team that will respect him and get better with confidence, cause that’s retarded

  5. Pussy St. Louis fans 🤣🤣🤣🤣 just cause he made a simple comment about the firing of a coach? Nahhh how y’all the murder capital of the world and ur all soft🤣

  6. He cried B4, during, & after the booing. Stop, millennial time. Therapy & drugs. Rather than showing grace to a coach fired for this 25-yr-old baby's lack of performance.

  7. "I appreciated working with him and I wish him all the best." Thats all he had to say. His comment was smug. Boos were deserved bc he obviously needed to be humbled.

  8. Some of these blues fans have no class would you the same too 17 year old on the Blackhawks they also have no class why epectsyoung player to be a star player early on

  9. I think they need to kick out everyone who booed go find a different team that was uncalled fake ass fans

  10. Also hating on tarensenko too saying he cancer go find a different we don’t about you guys you are a disgrace to our fanbase whoever hated on our past players like tarensenko too

  11. People are just overreacting to some comments. All he meant was that he wanted to focus on the game instead of defending his coach. He's a grown man, let him focus on his job.

  12. This is unfortunate. He commented on something that wasn't relevant (which was the coach no longer being there) good for him not holding onto something that was in the past.
