I will always be a huge fan of Matthew Tkachuk except for two games per season when I will hate his guts.

The powerplay is at the point where someone has to challenge Huska or Savard in an interview on what the actual system and plan for the powerplay is because I have zero clue what this team is being coached on. There’s so many whiffed passes and guys having seemingly no idea where other players are going to be. It’s easily the worst powerplay I have ever seen the flames run. I’d genuinely prefer Dave Cameron back that’s how bad it is. If we had even a halfway competent powerplay this team is probably in a wild card spot right now.
That was a fun game to watch. I love the intensity we show on the PK to go and challenge offensively.

nice to beat a more star-powered team with our goaltending, some shorties, and a Pospisil goal.
PP is embarrassing, IDK how we fix it tbh. I know we all want to get mad at Savard but I wonder if we just really don’t have the personnel out there to have a PP in the top half of the league. No true PP QB, Huberdeau just isn’t dynamic enough right now, and Shango is our only threatening shooter because Lindy’s shot/will to score has disappeared.
It has to improve, but i think the ceiling is low on the PP for this group.
