[Russo] Sounds like Yurov may stay another year in KHL. #mnwild would be fine with him continuing to develop in KHL as opposed to playing in AHL next season

   Ugh. The waiting game continues. At least Khus and Ohgren look like they are going to show up.

   Part of this is if theyre bumping heidt up to iowa with haight next year + maybe kumpaleinen too.. it starts to get really damn crowded. Also you’ve got khusnutdinov that i believe they want to start in NHL on 4th line but who knows.

   Edit – also ohgren ofc lol. and like a cast of guys that deserve a look at least and could be useful career ahl guys – milne, petrovsky, novak

   I’m not necessarily worried about him not coming here, as I think he wants to, but I don’t view this as a good thing. He’s going to light up the KHL next year and there will be even more pressure on him to stay longer.

   As long as it’s only for a year, that’s fine. He’s thriving there and there’s literally no space for him on the Wild roster. It underscores the stupidity of all of those extensions though, he should be given a shot at a top 9 spot next year without a doubt.

   Ultimately the AHL should be a team’s primary development league and if you don’t have faith in them developing talent you have bigger issues. More so with how old this roster is, having Yurov as a black ace in the playoffs or even as a call up would be so beneficial for this team. Competition isn’t bad. Why we defer to vets is baffling to me.

   Why is the wild logo with the sun different colors?

   Most shirts you can buy online have it more bronze whereas the actual logo and on jerseys is yellow
