Letâs be realistic. If Parise joins this team he should slot into LW4. This is not a knock on him whatsoever. He has shown he can produce with limited minutes, he will be leaned on during the PK and I believe he could work well with Cizikas.
Lastly and most importantly. Do not separate Holmstrom and Pageau.

What a satisfying win. This is the team we had the potential to be all along but werenât because we kept getting in our own way. Hopefully they keep this up

Turns out Holmstrom was the Wahlstrom we wanted all along.
Team defense was fly on shit, we had a good forecheck when we tried, dobson and romanov is a legit 1st pairing defense and itâs ducking great, sorokin playing great after a shit goal let up. Tons of blocked shots. I have never been happier to see a 3-1 win we needed that. That said tho they cannot sit back like they did. Even tho we played different defense then in the past
Ferraro finally gets that the Isles are different this year.

That was a Barry Trotz clinic, and Sorokin really locked in after that early stinker. Hope this gives him a much-needed confidence boost.
