What player & year do you want to see covered in a future episode of GOAT SZN? Keep in mind I donāt have unlimited access to NBA archives. I will take note of your suggestions and do the best I can. Please be patient if your suggestion hasnāt been posted yet. š
BROOO LETS GOOO I WAS WONDERING WHY U DIDNT HAVE A 96-97 THE OTHER DAY BUT ITS FINALLY HERE
And Karl Malone was awarded the MVP…
Kobe is my fav of all time but obviously i know he copied michael jordanās style and moves, itās quite beautiful to watch. The difference i notice is MJās game was more surgical, just straight to the point, no extra flash, no extra dribbles than necessary, he just needed 1 move to get open and score, like a fucking machine. Kobe could do that but he wasnāt as physically gifted as mj so he needed maybe 2-4 moves to get open sometimes, but still impressive as fuck. I also think MJ was close if not just as good a passer as Lebron, but MJ knew he was the best scorer on the court so he only passed if he knew his teammate was in a better position to make a high percentage shot, otherwise itās safer in his hands, which i think is smarter. I feel like Lebron passes a little too much especially in the last couple minutes of the game. Itās good to trust your teammates but if youāre the best scorer and the most in shape player on the team then the best decision is to take the shot yourself, just look at ben simmons when he passed instead of dunking over trae young. Lebron tends to pass to his out of shape nervous teammates for the game winning shot instead of taking it himself which pisses me off because i know lebron could be the goat if he could just tweak a couple bad habits. Heās still top 3 for me. Anyways, sorry for the long random rant, awesome video.
As a 28 year old who loves the game of basketball People will always try to tear down his greatness but fail to recognize he was the first of his kind, the blueprint for the moden NBA superstar. The league had never seen a guard with his level of fundamentals, skill, athleticism, toughness, scoring, defense, and mindset. It wasnāt that the comp was weak it was that he was just better than everyone else at the game very few from his era came close to that level of ability he is 1 of 1.
Underrated season imo he wasnāt really āairā Jordan anymore he was the fundamentally sound one. But could still dunk on people if he wanted 2
His footwork was amazing. Technically sound in all areas. GOAT indeed
What does a perfect basketball player look like? Michael Jordan
You already made a couple, but we need every Jordan season
man, that fade away was deadly
Kobe straight up watched MJ and just took his moves and eventually used it against him. Lmfao. That's crazy.
His footwork and craftiness anywhere above the free throw line is so impeccable you would think this man snuck in the arena the night before to get a shoot around in. He seems so comfortable in every arena thatās not the United Center
Draymond Green has made more 3s than Michael Jordan. Let that sink in.
As MJ said "97 Chicago Bulls, even with a flu"
Itās literally like watching a movie!
93 & 97 are my favorite Jordan years out of the Championship yearsā¦
Most of jordan's highlights is him shooting midrange fadeaway but it doesnt mean he cant do monster dunks, hes just using his energy wisely by just simply shooting jumpshots
To win 72 games the year before and now only 1 game from 70 in 1997, he and the team were absolutely unstoppable.
You can't surpass Michael Jordan
I'm so happy to see that you brought this series back!! I've been a huge of yours for almost 15 years now!!
Imagine having a season like this and not winning the MVP, š¤Æ
MJ !!! great content
Underrated yr by Mike!! Probably my favorite! Definitely got robbed for MVP
The birth of "old man" Jordan. He still had some UP, but his game was becoming more grounded.
1998 Jordan is my favorite, so you know how I feel about this reel…
Best ever, to do it both offensively and defensively
Please make 92-93 mj video!!šš
