Saskatoon Blades Jordan Keller (NHL 2023 Draft) and undrafted Trevor Wong work the 2 man game to tie it at 1 vs Kelowna Rockets. Some stuff to digest as undrafted defenseman, Charlie Wright, #47, does a solid job at the blue line then Keller and Wong work it down low. Kelowna breaks it out as Keller doesn’t quit on backcheck which allows Blades defenseman, Tanner Molendyk (2023 NHL Draft Eligible) to take out his man. Then Kelowna’s Marcus Pacheco (2023 NHL Draft Eligible) scoops the loose puck for a backhand attempt. Keller then grabs the puck and begins a 3 on 2 because Molendyk joins the rush. Keller beats Talyn Boyko (NYR 2021 Rd4).
