Poor kid. Unbelievably bad luck with injuries, even if he wasn’t quite panning out as promised. Really sad for him and I hope he can find a fulfilling post-playing career.

I wonder if he still keeps in contact with some guys from the team, I could tell there was some genuine chemistry there. I definitely hope he finds success in everything he sets his mind to when it comes to his future.

  3. Damn I always rooted for him to overcome that and have a long career. You never wanna see someone who had so much potential be forced to retire so young

That fucking sucks. Just imagine what player he could’ve been if his health didn’t fail him.

Damn. Itā€™s always a shame when guys are forced to retire over something they canā€™t control. Wear and tear from playing 10 or 15 years is one thing, but to get your career cut that short over migraines? I just feel bad for him. Wishing him the best, always have. Thanks for everything Nolan. Im sorry you couldnā€™t give us all you wanted to

I feel like my early adulthood just died? Thatā€™s incredibly upsetting his career was cut so short. Iā€™m sure heā€™ll do well though.

Wonder if all the years played as a youth had any impact on his health. Should we be looking at better helmets like the nfl has? I know I took a fair share of nasty hits as a youth

Sometimes traumatic injuries or experiences change your life for the better, it just takes a while to see it.

I hope this new venture for him is massively successful. Who knows, this could end up being his real calling. Wishing the best for #19
