  1. brock has a low centre of gravity and he is a load. on his first goal against the ducks he was in the crease and a big defencenan hit him, bounced off and fell and brock put it in the net.

  2. Man, I used to absolutely hate Foote whenever Colorado came to town. That guy seemed to know every trick in the book, dirty or otherwise, to thwart the opposition and basically get under the skin of anyone he targeted. Now though, I think Foote is not only a great hire but obviously a solid coach judging by this year's D. Even Foote's big broken nose doesn't look ugyy to me any more, instead a shining medal from his years soldiering in the trenches.

  3. You don’t need advanced analytics to know that cross crease passes are better than slot shots which are better than board shots lmfaoooooo bruh this isn’t 1962

  4. Tocchet and Foote might be among the best coaches this year but they are certainly among the gnarliest looking. Canucks players must have a hard time saying no to these guys: having been elite players notwithstanding…

  5. The Management respects Tocchet. The coaching staff respects Tocchet. The players respect Tocchet. The media respect Tocchet. Tocchet has clearly turned Vancouver into an enjoyable place to play, coached and be coached, managed, and talked about by the media. Who would want to leave if the team has success?

  6. The team has invested so much in Boeser over the years, it would be crazy to not include him in the core now, given the season he's having. Consistent 60 goal scorer Brock Boeser is probably not a realistic expectation but it's not like this is a career third liner having a lucky first quarter either. We always saw Boeser as a goal scorer but this year in particular he's had an outstanding start to the season. Combined with the evolution we've seen in his all around checking game he just looks like a player who has found a great fit with the coaching staff.
