John Shannon on impressive stats with the Canucks, NHL heading to the Olympics and more
NHL Analyst John Shannon joined the guys and talked about another impressive win for the Canucks last night, which of their early season stats impresses him most and more.
Canucks have a top three forward, defenceman and goalie. Their head coach and staff are Grade A. Their forwards are so good I'm not sure if the best one is Pettersen or Miller. Plus Canucks are really together as a team; and play with a lot of discipline at both ends of the ice. They are a pleasure to watch. They have toughness also that can play and contribute. There is a lot of competition on the roster to play on any given night. The farm is right there in Abbotsford to remind everyone that playing in the NHL is a privilege worth fighting for. The core of the team is hungry to win after years of managerial ineptitude held everyone back. What's not to like about the Canucks right now? Except for the prices of the hot dogs and beer for those folks lucky enough to attend the games in person. Great jobs Donnie and Dahli. You guys provide the best Canucks content going.
If they could only get their PK going which has been a big problem for a longtime. Would also like to see a little more urgency in starting games but overall it’s been a pretty impressive season so far.
