  1. I hate being the 'get off my lawn' guy but the NHL has become unwatchable for me. Bettman is making the owners a ton of money at great cost to fan bases and player safety. You can't have a faceoff anymore without seeing gambling odds, the digital boards still drive me batty and the officiating as you both clearly articulate, is just atrocious. Beyond that, the lackluster team effort is too painful to watch (skating around in a big arc instead of finishing a check and showing some grit is awful) and, speaking of watching, the Bally Sports + app continues to remain unreliable. I canceled my subscription a few days ago. I'm going to miss Ken and Mick but not much else. Everything changes but not always for the best. I think the NHL is completely offtrack. I'm not advocating for the reintroduction of the enforcer role, I'd rather see the NHL adequately maintain player safety, but I think I'm recalling this correctly that Probert and Kocur (and Grimson?) were selected in the same draft as Yzerman and Klima. Protect the players. Protect the game.

  2. All the Husso haters must be really happy now lmao SO STUPID. NHL goaltending in general is not that good these days and people wouldn't stfu about how much Husso sucks, now he's injured they're ****ed without him. Reimer is the starter with Michael Hutchison as backup, I hate when people complain, especially when they don't even provide an alternative opition or solution, sometimes there is no better alternative and you should stfu. NHL goalies are extremely hard to come by now more than ever, and it was always hard to find them. Any potential John Gibson trade would involve 1st round picks or a top prospect like Danielson/Kasper/Cossa and screw that, plus a third of the league needs a better goalie and they're all competing for him driving up the value.

  3. At 17:27, yes NHL players will be killed and it has already happened. The problem is the media covers up the murder and calls it an accident. When a player is on video high kicking another player in the neck, killing him before he got to the hospital, deemed an accident. Shame on all the media for covering this up.
