Jacques is a quality man who brings a mentality of service, and who brings a higher, abstract vantage to whatever endeavour he takes to. If the team applies his cerebral tenets and principles they have every opportunity at sucess. There aren't many like him anymore, in any profession. In fact, if the early-2000s Senators could have put their egos behind them, and commited more to Martin's system, they could have had more success and possibly even taken the cup in 2002-03.
The last time Jacques was at the helm here in Sens land, it wasn’t a period in time where we were on YouTube every day. You’d catch the odd sound bite on tv or the radio the next day. But obviously never the amount of coverage we get now.
I love the way Jacques approaches his media questions. It’s not just cliches and buzz words like 99% of coaches these days. Obviously he’s got to use lots of hockey jargon to answer the questions, but he actually answers the questions, and gives genuine feedback.
0:17 at least we know if we do a rebuild again. Mike and whoever has a chance to do it right. Get as many picks as possible and hopefully build this thing up to be a cup contender in 6 or 7 years done the road. I know Brady and Stu are great and others. I do not know if they have franchise tags.
DJ is a nice man but not the right coach. Don't they have someone that annualized the game live and identify problems and address it to the players during intermission??? Of each period???

Time to pull out the rakes…
Time to sit players not performing and focus on defence
Should have hired Martin months ago
Have they installed the excercise bikes for post game interviews at the CTC yet?

I heard Jacques insisted the team sign Yashin, Spezza, Daigle, & Redden to PTO’s to help with the special teams, lol.
Crookshank-Greig-Kubalik line played well. Both of Sens 5V5 goals was scored by that line.

We’ve got zero mental fortitude whatsoever. We fold like a bunch of fairies every single game. I hope JM can instill some actual balls in this team.
The fact he's 71 blows my mind,looks 51
I think it’s awesome Jacques is back. Those were the best teams. That 03 team should have won and he had a memorable run with the Canadiens in 2010
