  1. Id like to see Middelstadt traded to Calgary for Chris Tanev a right shot D man who would be a perfect partner for Owen Power. Problem is , I doubt Calgary would be interested in taking on another expiring contract.

  2. I love the idea of trading Mitts. We can't afford his future contract for a 3rd line center. We have bigger needs.

  3. Thompson, Levi, Dahlin, Cozens, Benson, Peterka, are keepers. All other Sabres are possible candidates to move to improve the club.

  4. get rid of the only guy on the team that shows up for 60 minutes every game? 😵‍💫

    step 1: trade Mittelstadt
    step 2: ???
    step 3: playoffs

  5. Mitts scored 59 pts last year and it looks like he’s going to surpass that number this year……why trade him? We almost have a full 3 lines of scoring

  6. The issue is the lines keep being changed around. this is the issue i see the problem. no consistent in line mates. Its this. I hate to say this gergensons is my guy and i love his play. But robinson I feel brings a hard and fast and power forward we are in need of. The thing is what are we going to do now.

  7. Nada will happen. Not until next year unfortunately. GMKA isn't moving off his plan. No trade needed call up Jiri & waive Ollie.

  8. I personally think Owen Power is the player who should be traded…hear me out here.

First I want to qualify by acknowledging that Power is a former 1st overall pick who performed pretty well in his rookie season and has had an awful start to this season, as have pretty much all of his teammates. He is under contract for the next 8 years at $8.35M which I still feel will be a good deal in the long run.

I do believe Owen Power will be a good player and will improve in the next few years.

We’re young. Going to be young for a while unless we bring in proven, quality NHL players to fill out our lineup. I’d love an upgrade on right D. Jokiharju Clifton and Johnson is rough. All three are probably best suited as a sixth D. Ryan Johnson is sitting so these guys can play.

We would also benefit greatly from adding to our forward depth. A proven top 6 guy and a reliable and preferably hard nosed, fast, checking/scoring middle six player. Fire Olofsson into the sun, Jost is eh, Robinson – ok sure, like.. does kevyn Adams realize that although his prospect pool is deep and they will develop from within but there are games and a season that matter to everyone? This is not good for the players, the coaches, the fans…nobody wants to lose like this. This is how things blow up, how many times have we seen it before? The general manager needs to make a ground breaking, world shattering blockbuster trade of Owen Power and whoever else, honestly. Power is valuable. He could get you the exact kind of return that could turn around this season and this franchise.

    Thats just how I feel.

  9. There are others to trade. He’s too good along the walls and he’s the best passer on the team aside from Dahlin. His effort is never in question. That’s a quality this team needs more of.

  10. Mitts Oloffson and Joki are Trade bait. Sabres need a Top 6 Righty to pair with Power. We need a goalie and Good Power forward.

  11. I love your idea about trading Casey for a top four defenseman. I can also add to it that I think Krebs is miscast as a fourth line center. the Sabres need to make a decision on him whether he should be moved to the third line, where he can take on the role of a playmaker like Mittlestadt is. If they don’t think he is, then he should be traded and maybe keep middlestadt instead. I’d like to get a defensive minded, penally killing, big, scrappy, tough, face off winning center for the fourth line.

  12. We have so much quality in Rochester (as well as Savoie in the WHL).. Moving Casey and a few others would open spots for them. If this team is NOT going anywhere might as well sell high on a few pieces. That said, the lineup looks good.. But the big thing is.. .I have less then 0 confidence in UPL… if they start him against the leafs… I won't have any hopes going in.. Not saying he can't come out on top… but he can't be counted on…

  13. gmka should've traded him in the off-season when his value was highest. He should've got rid of Okposo and Girgs and crowned a young leader to move forward as captain. Should've got a proven starting goalie. Adams is the reason we've regressed so much.

  14. What the hell, let’s run that Drought Count up to 5000! At this point, it not only seems inevitable, so why not!

If they don’t want to make any BIG and NEEDED moves to improve this team, we’re all running head first towards oblivion together!!

  15. If we’re trading Mittlestadt, it’s gotta be for a 1 or 1 a/b level goaltender. We should accept nothing less.
