  1. New subscriber. Glad to have found you. This is the second year in a row that I've decided to tune out the Wings early in the season. I'll focus on Boston and Florida for the rest of the season. But I'll watch your podcast to keep up on what's happening.

  2. man, its a tough one. – it sucks cause we were a good team but now we're not and that super concerning. Where as before, we just never were a good team so there was no hope to begin with. – i guess its just too soon to call us a playoff team and i got ahead of my self. but i hope I eat my words.

  3. I see san jose we go in thinking easy still thinking it 10 game lose streak sj not the 50/50 sj of that time get our 3 quick goals think easy we got the w stop playing give up 3 and then start playing again (something weve been struggling withl ottawa game Larkin and Perron go out too many gone spread too thin cant play it the whole game without getting burnt follow it up with dallas a good team and we've got alot of guys out still so i get it blues we got the win even with the refs making it clear period 1 who they wanted to win when they gave detroit a high stick on no hit and nothing to blues on a high stick with blood (i missed the Carolina game sounds like we're blaming husso messing up the dumped puck (if you a goaltender tend the goal) i get it and aint throwing much blame there gotta be scoring (aint got the guys tho) cant blame one mistake on the game) then we head off to Philly where i saw 4 hits to the head go uncalled and lose klim again (was a clean hit he needs to head up) teams been getting killed so goalies are getting worn out so we lose lyon husso has to come in with little stretch he gets worn out then the ducks husso gets the start i think husso is still so worn at that point he goes in cant do it goes out we bring in Reimer he lets in a couple muffins from his little stretch so we just let up to many goals (something we've been struggling with all season) (i missed the Winnipeg game and haven't looked into yet so idk)

  4. Disappointed seeing Alota fans packing it in!!!??? Very surprised.

Team will start to turn it around eventually. Get through this month without anymore injuries, they’ll be fine.

Look for them to come back in the new year and start to get hot again. They’re too talented not to

  5. This whole team is soft as fuck, a bunch of pretty boys. Mo and Razor arent those guys, Cat and Kane cant get any space, the defense continues to allow fast breaks. This team doesnt have the toughness or skill to compete for the playoffs. Streaky isnt a winning culture; Yzerman played with Men, Larkin is playing with boys.

Where is the Ryan Reaves or Radko Gudas on this team? We need an endorcer/grind line otherwise this teams hopes of anything a just a pipe dream.

And Newsy's gameplan sucks, not skilled enoùgh for the complicated scheme.

  6. Quit offering excuses! Lakin has been a pinata for 3 years. Once Larkin got knocked out, and Parron was the ONLY one to stand up, the team backs down once the game gets physical! Puck battle win percentage after the Ottawa game was 92% Ottawa 8%Detroit. Why? Because they were afraid along the boards! No Grit or Toughness! Until they get tough, there is no hope.

  7. They never play with any urgency. Everything looks difficult for them. Passes just out of reach, poor forecheck, turnovers in the neutral zone, no hitting/checking, everybody chasing puck in defensive zone, losing puck battles along boards, no one seems to be in right place when they need to be there. They look so discombobulated. I cant explain it well…like everything is scrambled…they have no flow, everything looks so difficult for them. This is very poor hockey they are playing. Its extremely frustrating watching them. Walman is absolutely playing worst hockey. Whenever they play they dont play like they want to win. They just kinda cruise on auto pilot. I see no hussle to outwork the opponent. Yzerman needs to have a talk with this coach, Im starting to wonder about him. Still dont see much physicality or hitting/checking. They are way to soft. And I mean soft. There boys. We need men. Lalonde is soft also. There just mediocre as fuck. So sick of it the last several seasons. Just average, streaky, mediocre, boring hockey. This team is going nowhere. Even when they score 5 they find a way to lose. There toast

  8. we actually have – a good team. Here's what remains: 1.)We need a coach. 2.)obvious, we need a good goalie. And eventually – both will happen.

  9. We need a new coach.. theres no in game changes. Are systems are horrible. we need an actual #2 d man. Guys look like they have no jump or energy yet they get a regular shift. Makes no sense

  10. I'm concerned about Larkin, last night he made a play I thought was one that is made if you're playing scared. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it after his comments about the state of the league after his injury, but it was what I thought when I saw it. 1st period last night at Winnipeg, I watched him do something I haven't seen him do, aside from maybe his rookie year. The puck was dumped behind the Winnipeg net, not an icing and he beats the defender to the puck by a couple strides. Didn't even seem to me like the defender was going to come in and hit him but he blindly threw it in front of the net with nobody even close to the area. Larkin has been so good and I hope I'm just overthinking this one but that play was very concerning imo.
