Tocchet don’t like Russians!
Toc didn't miss a beat when asked if he will be scratched
damn i feel so bad for kuzy, let him play his game!
when coaches do stuff like that it just makes players not want to play there so a lot of players are going to want to leave teams
Thumbs down…gotta let Kuz play it out…
I have never heard of scratching a guy after scoring in back to back games. It's not like he's actively cost the team games like Miller last year. When Miller pays effectively, he's great. When he doesn't, he's a liability. If the Canucks start the falter, all they've really done is fixed Miller, who they could have traded for a nice haul at the expense of Kuzmenko, who they've buried and won't land them any kind of decent return. Say what you want about Kuzmenko's defensive acumen and lack of grit, but I haven't noticed him screw up royally a lot like Miller used to. But hey, running a talented Russian player is becoming standard practice for the Canucks going back to Bure.
Play kuzmenko,,or trade him,,so he can play
Pretty sure, trade value is not an option, unless a big defensemen comes onto the market…
he will be back before the end of the season.
Mock trade for your entertainment:
To CBJ: Andrei Kuzmenko
Elias Pettersson (Defenseman)
To VAN: Ivan Provorov
Canucks future D-pairing:
Hughes Hronek
Provorov Willander
Zadorov Soucy
Come on he’s got skills
Kuzy was not gelling with Petey and Mikey. So Tocchet put it Lafferty and Pius and worked wonders for the line, boasting their checking and scoring wise, giving Canuck more chance to get 2 points. Kuzy should be more patient, and work himself back to the mold instead of wanting Canucks to be patient with him. Tocchet is here to instill his hockey culture and win hockey games. That is why he is tired of talking about Kuzy. It is up to the player himself. Only the player can learn and upgrade himself and play to his own expected standards. There is no doubt about that.
