If Chris Kreider helps bring a Cup back to MSG, could he be considered the best Ranger of all time?

  1. Good player for the Rangers no doubt. Is he cream of the crop league wide? No, hes just outside. It is weird that hes survived his tenure with them for so long without being a superstar, given that outside Hank the Rangers haven't given a fuck about loyalty.

  2. A lot of the people the rangers have already retired I’ve never even heard of other than graves, In terms of the show, they’ve been a pretty sub par bench in terms of being an original sixer. I agree that they definitely need to step it up, there’s 10 other players I could name that I feel deserve the rafters more.

  3. He would have to single handedly drag that team to a cup win to get that title. Brian Leetch’s playoffs in ‘94 was one of the best offensive performances by a defenceman in NHL playoff history. Only Coffey in ‘85 had more points in the history of the NHL for points by a defenceman. The Rangers hadn’t won in 50 years as an original 6 team. Maybe he gets his number retired but unless he breaks some records in doing so he ain’t the greatest Ranger by a mile. He will have a hard time beating out Jean Ratelle and Gilbert let alone Leetch, hell Lundqvist too. Winning a cup changes the convo vs Ratelle. Gilbert and Lundqvist obviously but not Leetch.

  4. Ehhhhh not sure I agree with the take. He had that one monster season in terms of goal scoring, but it was obvious that it was a one and done. He's definitely a good player, but greatest Ranger of all time?? Jagr, Messier, Panarin, and Brad Richards come to mind, and Kreider's not on their level.

  5. These dudes think all current players are that franchises’ best player lol.
Chris Kreider isn’t even a HOFer. Brian Leetch, Rod Gilbert, Mark Messier, Adam Graves, Mike Richter, Henrik Lundquist, all better Rangers.
