Hofer stopped everything that came off a panthers stick. Only thing that got him was one off the boards

Kyrou gets booed, he responds. Buch gets sat, he responds. Love seeing the players answering the bell!

Drew Bannister got onto that bench, remained professional, and did not commit any inappropriate sexual acts towards any of the players.

He got the boys going with his honesty and legitimate leadership.

Good win on the road. Now let’s go beat the shithawks at home and get a streak going.

Thomas with the assist hat trick tonight 🍎🍎🍎

3 Stars of the Game (Unofficial):

    ⭐ – Kyrou

    ⭐⭐ – Buchnevich

    ⭐⭐⭐ – Hofer

Should have been a shutout, but the Cats got one helluva lucky bounce. Kyrou has definitely improved as of late and I really think the boos did the trick.

  7. They didn’t look horrible. Top line was buzzin. Everyone tried to play D

First of all, it’s wild to have such a strong, solid win when the captain is comprehensively brutal. All three periods, all three zones, WTFs everywhere. What the hell is going on with him and why is no one addressing it?

I also can’t help but wonder how many people recognized what a fantastic 200-foot defensive outing that was from Kyrou tonight. Out there looking like Rick Meagher on the back check. That line only gave up four SOGs the whole night to Barkov’s line.

Finally, RobTom over the last 28 games: 12g 22a 34pts +13, 25 takeaways against only 14 giveaways and 54% on draws.

  9. Top line looked good but I think this goes a little different if the post’s bounces went the other way in the first period.

    Hofer saved the game.

This was a great game against a solid team. Go Blues!

Hofer was great. So was Buch. I’m starting to be hopeful when Kyrou gets the puck. We seem decent at lead man passes on the breakout. Sometimes this team is better than is should be. I really like those times.LGB

  12. If Kyrou continues to play like this, he will be loved.

Pucks on net, put pucks deep, be aggressive on the forecheck!

I hate to say it, but Jamie is growing on me. His color skills are getting more confident.

  15. I love it when the St. Louis Blues win hockey games!

This is the most effing bipolar team I’ve ever seen and I’m here for it. That’s your headline. Print it.

We might have had to sacrifice Chief for Bannister, but so far I’m liking what I’m seeing from him.

    – knows what he’s looking for and knows how to convey that to the players. Great comeback win after a huge loss after emphasizing the need for on ice communication and shots on goal

    – got the most out of line combos. Very rare did we see any odd man rushes tonight… so he’s working well with Weber

    – He put Sundqvist (arguably– no no, factually), our hardest working forward out on the ice with Buch and Thomas to get Buch the ENG almost right after the faceoff. This tells me he knows our roster and can make great decisions on the fly.

I would NOT hate it at all if Bannister went full time.
