i was imagining that Pat Verbeek would surprise the hockey world and send Leo to the WJC after this game.. "waow, Leo going to the WJC.. waow okay! cool".. probably wasnt going to happen.. and yeah, not a chance now. because now he is hurt. and he cant even play games with anaheim. why.. why did this happen. why. he got hurt playing for anaheim, a team where the season is already over. and they didnt loan him to the WJC because he might get hurt. but now he is hurt. but if he was loaned to the WJC, he would not play this game. maybe this is the hockey gods saying something. maybe that international play is very important for the sport and if your NHL team suck, might aswell send them off to the WJC? im very very sad right now. very sad.
