Reminder About the Sub Rules

Hey Ducks Fans,

Let”s be real – it’s been hard to be a Ducks fan over the last few years, and while the future is bright, we need to continue to remain civil. Without getting all ‘Danny-Glover-Lethal-Weapon “I’m too old for this shit”‘ on you, the Mods are posting this as a reminder to adhere to the sub-rules, in hopes you read this, and will continue to post quality content, engage in civil conversations, and for our sake minimize the reports about; shit posting, karma whoring, and flaming each other.

Without further ado, the rules are as follows:

**1. General Post Content**

This is an Anaheim Ducks centric sub and also a hockey sub.

You are free to post on topics that are directly or indirectly related to the Anaheim Ducks. The mods are lenient, in that we will allow posts related to Anaheim Ducks Alumni, the Honda Center, or attending games and other similar topics.

When in doubt about the contents of your post it is better to avoid posting.

**Note:** POSTS WHICH ARE NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE TEAM MAY BE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL AT MOD DISCRETION.

**2.** **Selling Tickets**

All tickets sales and related discussion should be limited to the Monthly Ticket Thread.

All standalone ticket posts will be removed.

**3. Game Day Threads**

To keep discussions organized and engaging, we kindly ask that all content related to the games be shared within the designated game day threads. These threads, which include pre-game, during, and post-game discussions, serve as centralized hubs for all game-related content. Any posts made outside of these threads will be removed to maintain the subreddit’s focus. Users are encouraged to participate in the appropriate threads to ensure a vibrant and cohesive discussion experience.

**4. Post Topics to Avoid**

In addition to our rules on General Post Content, posts directly or indirectly relating to any of the following are not allowed:

Politics/Political Positions;

Contentious Social Issues; and

Hate Speech or Defamatory Statements.

**5. Trolling**

Don’t be an asshole. Don’t start shit in other subs with other fans post-game or with other subs in our threads. It’s a simple rule that is ubiquitous throughout hockey Reddit. Enough said.

**5. Cross Sub Trolling**

Excessive trolling in other hockey subreddits will result in a ban. [We have partnered with the following hockey subreddits for enforcement](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-MQr-A3h9-jtF7xPTpmBKEV3ELIZPy2qqeEqDtjXLgo/edit).

That’s it. Pretty simple, right?

Now, as the great Lubomir Visnovsky once said after scoring his first hat-trick as a Duck, *”Let’s go together and win for number one!”.*
