  1. Getting scratched is one thing but even just signing him felt really risky to me. Coming off of an injury and is playing good with McDavid in junior enough to cough up the money when we were already tight with money? Too many guys with no finish on the team right now

  2. Brown: don’t piss. You know you are ineffective on the ice, 1 pt in 23 games, -10. You are lucky you get a 3.225M bonus next year, thanks to the worst GM in the league.

  3. Brown getting pissed off about an understandable and rational scratch is concerning.
I hope he was just pissed with himself and doesnt go on to blame the coach/team for his lack of production.

  4. This Oiler fan thinks scratching him is counter productive. I agree he’s struggling but I don’t think sitting him will help him find his game.

  5. We need to stop firing coaches, fire the damn GM instead………how long have we known we need a goaltender? Either we draft goalies and develop them or overpay and give up valuable assets…….this team seem to always fire the wrong people. I guess incompetence pays…….just saying.

  6. Two best players on the planet with 97 and 29. Add in 18, 91, 93 and I wonder how the hell we can’t find a 6th forward for the top 6? 4 million bucks for Brown 1 assist. How on earth could we sign someone WORSE than Yamamoto and Pulijujarvi? How is this even possible that we can’t fill that spot with an effective player? I personally think it should be Foegele with McDavid and Hyman. He brings grit, speed and toughness to that line. And Leon, Kane and Nuge on the second line with Kane filling that speed and toughness to that line. So pissed that Brown is not working out whatsoever.

  7. They should have sent him down for a conditioning stint after game 9 when he was Injured and came back. He needed to get some heavy minutes vs slightly slower speed game to try and find his game. Rotating through the line up and the press box is just gonna Puljarvi him. They probably weren't expecting much out of him for the first half of the season and picking him up was an attempt to be better in the playoffs but…definitely gonna need some significant improvement for that gamble to pay off.
