    "Weren't even competitive in most of those games"

    All 4 games against CAR last year were one-goal games. The one from earlier this season was probably the worst of the bunch (as far as their overall performance not just the score) and even that one was 'competitive.'

    I don't remember Jerry stealing games like the way Ned has been doing. Jarry isn't doing bad but what a great story when it comes to Ned. Ned is like the Jim's in shoresy, he sets the tone

    I'm just pleased that, of all the problems the Pens could be facing, goaltending isn't one of them. Seems like a million years since the preseason and that's all anyone would point at.

    A game concept like yesterday has to be the blueprint for this team. Great to see Sid back at such a dominant level. (At this stage of his career) that's just….wow! Hopefully Karlsson and Malkin will be able to join him. That would be something. Also thumbs up for Carter and Harkins. They won't be difference makers, but they both improved quite a bit compared to the start of the season.

    Good word, HCMS is quite "inflexible". I love to see he is becoming so, or being told to be. I dont know about the team, but i feel much more comfortable with Ned starting. Merry Xmas DK, and thanks for all you do!

    I feel like the 1st power play unit was banging their head on the wall yesterday but when the 2nd unit came on it seemed in their brief time they had better opportunities than the first unit

    “We weren’t even competitive against The hurricanes last year “ EACH game last year was a one goal game and a weird bounce here and there and it could have been different that year we definitely were competitive against them last year but we just couldn’t win against them. Now last night we finally got one 🙏🏽
