Yeah this season is over, that was an immediate reaction after the Anaheim Ducks vs Calgary Flames game. The night started great pre game, we got two of our core players back in Jamie Drysdale & Mason McTavish. Then we lose Leo Carlsson to a nasty looking injury. This truly is a Duck My Life moment…I recap the Anaheim Ducks vs Calgary Flames game in this video!

You guys are starting to build a nice young core over there. Hopefully you get Celebrini!
It’s over…. What a disaster of a season
The coach needs to start benching guys who are not following his directions, just like when he benched Zegras earlier this year. The players need to be held accountable for their actions. Start taking away guys' ice time; take charge, coach!
Roughest game of the season for sure. Great to have Jamie and Mason back, they looked like they'll be noticeable being back. I just hope that wont be anything serious for Leo. This season wasnt going to be anything amazing so im not bummed about anything short term. Just hope this doesnt affect his development.
I don't like the video bc bad news…
damn, "looks like his season is over" was my first thought too..
Carlsson’s injury is deflating in a season that has fewer Ducklings playing than I hoped. Mintyukov is already my favorite Duck and I was hoping for Zellweger and more Luneau. I really did not expect Leo to be this good and now…well it’s in his game 23, so if he doesn’t play again this year he will be eligible for ROY next year.
2 key players return only to watch another key player get injured, tough to watch.
Ugh. Besides this year I haven't watched the NHL since 2019. Watching the ducks this year was a good reminder why I went on a hiatus. It's unfortunate, but honest, the ducks usually aren't even fun to watch anymore.
I've been enjoying other games with great teams where I don't have to stress about the 20th giveaway our team did in a 10 minute span. Hoping they can work on their fundamentals for the remainder of the season, because obviously the playoffs aren't happening.
Luck is definitely not on our side, especially this year (and the officiating is so bad, it's not even a funny joke). I get they cannot keep up with everything that goes on on the ice, but they're 4 people watching 10 players (who usually play one near the other). How hard can it actually be?
As a Leo fan who's been supporting him since the SHL in Örebrö, I'm still in denial. And the fact that we won't get any update about him for months is even worse! This is going to be a looong year if the top players keep getting injured.
Islanders had same problem and then they took off..very painful to watch
This wasn’t supposed to be a competitive season for the Ducks. It’s another year in a rebuild. Losing Carlsson sucks, but with the Ducks now with the third worst record, it’s time to start thinking about how great Celebrini would look alongside all the other young talent the Ducks have!
It time to do hard look on the managment and coach and player
I had to turn this one off after Leo got hurt… easily the worst game of the year. The only positive way dosty, I was glad to see him play harder after that first goal and not get down on himself
That injury looks like he is out for the rest of the season. That doesn't look good at all. I've been through injuries during my time playing college hockey and I'm gonna tell you don't be surprised if he misses half of next season. On the other hand the team isn't playing well..another bust season on paper this team shouldn't be as bad but I guess I wrong. Coaches is to blame here HCC or assist Coaches cause they should've of been in the running for a playoff position. San Jose has went 0-13 and leap frog over the Ducks doesn't look good.
I was at the game. Oof. Those drop passes were just painful to watch.
I picked a great game to be my first of the year, what a piss poor performance. A Bantam team passes better than this team, and the PP was so freaking difficult to watch in person. 91 injury was ugly hope he can fully recover….
Don't be so negative. It ain't over 'til Rebel Wilson sings!
Sorry but where is the link for the discord?
First month: Playoffs?!?
2 months later: Tank for Celebrini!
Lmaooo Anaheim Sucks
Broken leg
It’s been over 😅
this sounds rough. maybe you should become a kings fan
Why does LA have two hockey teams?
Anaheim does not need a team.
I enjoyed the Video. The injury reminded me of a football chop block.
The day we get Mactavish and Drysdale back like after what 100+ games we lose Leo to that gnarly injury. Duck my life indeed.
Did you actually have high expectations for the ducks this year? The season was over before it began
2 consecutive wins….and you change the lines and henrique playing first and second line…this is why you play bad and yours players gets hurt…st@#pi$d coach
That game was the definition of laying an egg. Totally disappointing, especially coming off two consecutive wins. The team played with little-to-no structure and looked like a pick up team thrown together before the game. As if that game wasn’t bad enough, Leo’s injury finished it off.
Think their season was over long before this game. Not much heart or grit in Ducksville.
What happened to Zegras? I don't follow the Ducks much but I haven't heard about him in a while
Agree, this was the worst game of the season !! How can almost the entire team play so BADLY !!! I had hoped all the fumbling with the puck, bad passes, turnovers & just out of sync plays would change after the break between periods. Not much change. Leo’s injury broke my heart. 😢 He was the most positive thing this season.
I just don’t know what to think about this team anymore.
sucks so bad. I really liked watching Leo play. Hopefully he’s not out too long!
Looks like Leo has an MCL tear (grade 1 or 2). It's still not great, but it's better than expected. He shouldn't be out for the rest of the season!

what makes me so upset about this game is that jamie and mason came out to play. yes mason was a bit sloppy but it’s nothing compared to how the vets played. the vets are disappointing. and it’s also so annoying that we took YET ANOTHER penalty for too many players. it’s frustrating that the refs suck but even more so that we’re taking these stupid penalties
The only bright side with Carlsson injury is that one looked like a freak accident… some of the dirty hits around the leauge have just been malicious and grotesque
