  1. Kucherov is a whiny little BITC* who constantly is sucking for a call.
    Unsportsmanlike is so overdue

  2. Blatant game management. I don't like either team. Same pattern as always. They ref for the plot. Winning a game by two or more? Good luck. Got three powerplays in a row? That fourth will never come. Scored on two powerplays in a row? You could get executed live on national television. Doesn't matter. You're not getting another one until the other team has their makeup powerplay. I mean there's a reason gambling sites have a "odds of getting next powerplay" stat. The refs are so obvious in how they do this bullshit that their bias can be accurately predicted.

  3. First one is a hold….missed call
    Get over it….
Second one is not a penalty. Don’t act like Tampa hasn’t gotten away with one either.

No one knows what was said except who was on the ice. Herbert is one of the best referees in the league, I’m sure he wouldn’t give out a penalty if it wasn’t warranted.

People really don’t understand that these guys go out there and do the best they can. It’s their livelihood and how they put food on the table. They don’t miss penalties on purpose. They get one look on the ice and that’s it.
Easy to say when you look at a slo motion replay.

0:05 referee is even with the play, which is probably why he doesn’t see it. Sight lines are everything.

  4. I am a tampa homer, first one should have been call, second one meh.. that would have been a seriously weak call if made.

  5. Kuch gave up on the play because the glove going into his foot was going to send him flying into the boards. Another dangerous play going unpunished, no wonder players feel okay to lay huge hits from behind and trip players going into the boards. Honestly, they need to re-vamp the way the game is called – we have so much technology comapred to when the game was invented. Why have 4 refs on the ice who still manage to miss a lot, why not have three and then one up top watching replays to ensure the call is right. Give this ref the power to reverse a bad call and also call penalties the refs on the ice miss.

Example: two players chase for a puck into the boards and one player full on yardsales into the boards. No penalty is called because the play is too quick but the play stops. The ref upstairs can literally take 20 seconds to see if there's ANY stick contact close to the feet or ANY push onto the player and call a penalty accordingly.

I really feel like if you have an official watching replays and catching that dirty sht, it will protect the players in the long run. I'm not talking every play needs to be scrutinized and broken down but there needs to be some consistency and dirty players need to be penalized when they do dirty cheeky plays.

Think of a world where there isn't an easy and understandable excuse of "i didn't see what happened". With an official up top watching, the game would be called more fairly and consistently.

Alternatively, if two players go full speed towards the boards to get the puck and one of them suddenly gets dumped to the ice, call a major and review it… What's the harm? The odds of an infraction are fairly high, NHL players rarely just fall on their own going into the boards full speed.

  6. Sorry, too busy laughing at the Leafs … too funny, perennial failures, little Maxie, crybaby Marnie, too busy thinking about golf to care Mattpews,

  7. 1st one could’ve gone either way, 2nd one was a good non-call. Not sure what Kucherov was bitching about

  8. Вот за это мне и не нравится куч! Плакса! Звезду обидели!!! Так сожми зубы и играй дальше, ты на хоккейной площадке а не в театре

  9. I hate how vegas constantly hooks and holds and cheats, and when anyone does a single thing to any of them, they all lose their minds and start crying. Stone can't even take a check without whining in the media about it. Petroangelo lumberjacks people when a team's a little rough on him in a playoff series. Even their "tough" guys whine when anything comes back their way.

  10. Bettman needs to go out honestly I’mstarting to think even I could do a bit better because I would make the calls better and actually not rig it for Canadian teams btw I am rangers fan

  11. Hebert is a ffing idiot, the refs have no supervision, because the supervisors are as bad as the refs. They should be sent to Europe, their officials have surpassed North American officials by far

  12. The NHL does not call a lot of penalties on new teams who give them a billion dollars. Come on !!! It's a good business investment.

  13. Whether held on the first one or not, your job is to play your hardest, not flop your arms in the air when you get brushed by a glove. Chances are, if he tries to skate through that harder, the penalty is definitely called. If I'm a ref, I don't want to make calls with that look either. Penalties are earned, not given.

  14. The first one was a holding for sure, but the ref was jumping out of the way at the same time it happened so it went unnoticed. The second was not even close to a penalty 😂

  15. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving idiot. Officiating may be awful, but with everything Tampa Bay is allowed to get away with they're the last team that has a right to complain.

  16. These linesman missed the memo to get educated on who the fuck Nikita Kucherov is. Vegas is too good to need 8-on-5 hockey to win games.

  17. Not sure why any player in the NHL would expect any of the refs to even know what a penalty is. Everyone of them is incompetent. Always has been the case, and always will be the case.

  18. The break away penalty would have been an iffy call but the first play with Kucherov going down the wing he was definitely held and there should have been a penalty!
If the refs had gotten that call right the first time there would have been no un-sportsman penalty!
The ref compounded his initial mistake when he failed to make the correct call and thereby created the opportunity for Kucherov to complain. Granted Kucherov probably went too far with his complaints, but the ref should have went over to Kucherov and 1) admitted he missed the first call and then 2) gave him a warning to not be so vigorous and loud!
Instead the ref did what NHL refs constantly do as the "hockey gods" they think they are, he let his ego make the call!👎

    my OPINION 🦂

  19. the second one definitely wasn't a penalty but i gotta say the nhl has completely shot themselves in the foot in recent years by having refs that stupidly would call that, because now players expect it, and you can't blame them because it's not their job to set the precedent it's their job to follow it. kuch was understandably pissed because in a lot of games he plays that would be following the precedent. the rise in the unpredictability and inconsistency of refs has fucked with players heads and unfortunately it also fucks with refs who are doing a good job by making the right non-call like in this tampa/vegas game.

  20. There was no penalty on either play, don’t know why he’s whining. This coming from someone who cheers for Tampa as well as having Vegas as my second least favourite team
