  1. Slafkovsky is 2-0 against bedard

I know who im taking if i need a win

  2. Slaf now has back-to-back multi-point games (first time in his career), 5 points in his last 4 games, and 10 in his last 18 games

ever since that game vs the Canucks he has been a completely different player

Zukes on a nice little point streak as well, and that top line has been so money, the goals are finally coming for them

    BONNE NUIT CHICAGO!

  4. Ladies and gentlemen,I’ll say it

    I’m in love with Slaf.

    There I said it
    Merry Christmas 🎉🎁

    Go Slaf Go!!!
    GG

Edit: Nobody mentionned it, first GWG from Slafkovsky as well!

  5. Sentenced2Burn

The best part of the game was when Slafkovský ripped off his shirt and screamed “IT’S SLAFFIN TIME” then Slaffed all over those guys

  6. KirkHammettJigsaw

Struble is a fucking monster. He’s never playing in Place Bell ever again

  7. fortytwoanswers

Slaf is a beast of a player. If he keeps this up and gets to 35ish points, his development will be on the right track. Great to see that line thriving and finally getting rewarded.

  8. Halfbak3d

Great start to the Christmas trip, holy shit. This part of the year is usually depressing for habs fans. And we played two good teams in the jets and the wild, gotta love the boys progression

  9. douce_abeille

    Missing Kirby extra tonight ![img](emote|t5_2r10m|21702)

And oh god how I LOVE OUR FIRST LINE. Slaf looks to be the right piece next to them.

Anyway, well deserved break boys girls and others! Merry Christmas for those who celebrate 🎄

  10. Booyacaja

Nothing like entering Christmas break when the Habs are on a role, feels good! Happy holidays all!

  11. holdunpopularopinion

Fuck Bedard, all my homies hate but respect the talent of Bedard.

  12. EggNoggandApplePie

    Habs win

    Bruins lose

Perfect to start the Christmas break

  13. RoosterVking

Our Top Line is Top Lining so fucking hard lately. It’s insane. Anderson is back. Struble has been consistently fantastic. I haven’t enjoyed Habs Hockey like this for so long now

  15. mahagar92

thats how you turn a game! I was genuinely worried after their 2G but that quick answer to 2-1 was detrimental in my opinion as it didnt allow to sink in that we are down by 2. And Slaf 1+1 again, amazing!

    Merry Xmas everyone! 🫡![img](emote|t5_2r10m|16352)![img](emote|t5_2r10m|16352)![img](emote|t5_2r10m|16352)

  16. That’s it, I was learning Czech but I’m switching to Slovakian. Time to whip out Duolingo again.

  17. Slafkovsky is turning into an absolute monster out there and it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the league finally puts the respect on his name he’s earned.

  18. Josh Anderson was visited by the three ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future.

Past reminded him of scoring against the leafs in the playoffs

Present showed him the fans love him and gave him a stand ovation

Future showed him the dangers of not scoring and being traded to somewhere terrible like Winnipeg or Arizona

  19. You gotta love seeing the first line capitalize on their chances, which they weren’t doing before. Slaf producing, Suzes getting hot, and thank fuck Caufield doesn’t seem too seriously injured.

Primeau was good tonight, he kinda reminds me of Montembault two seasons ago where while he still had some consistency issues, he had more good games than bad ones.

Tough game from Barron, but at least we still have Savard. He’s just seems so quietly effective.

Ylonen got like 3 seconds on the top 6 and got an assist.

Evans has been playing really well since getting bumped to the second line, really making the most of his opportunity and that line has a whole is really clicking since Anderson remembered how to score goals.

    Shout out to Mitchell Stephens.

  20. That was a game where I thought we played well 95% of the time, and then the other 5% were atrocious defensive breakdowns (this is also where Chicago scored twice).

Suzuki now at 30 points in 33 games. Keep hope for 70 alive.

After a stretch of games of being pleased by Slafkovsky’s play and assuming the points would start coming, they have, in fact, started coming.

  21. pichenet14

Ok. I may have doubted (not hated) – but man Slaf has been playing well. I would like to join the slafheads if you will let me.
