Laine has had a injury filled season. The last 2 years he had 108 points in 111 games.

He’s the most productive player per game on the list

PLD is leading in the most important stat, PIM. Can’t have a successful PK unit without someone taking the penalties 😎

I miss Laine on the Jets. He could have been considered a Top 10 player for a good while when he played for them. After he was traded, he sort of fell off.

Big fan of the jets and like the haul they received from the kings. Can’t forget about Kupari and 2nd round (mtl) as well.

Had Dubois is Fantasy this year and was absolutely killing me until I dropped him lol. I think they tried him and Fiala together for a bit but eventually PLD settled on the Kings 3rd line playing with Laferriere and Kaliyev mostly. I’m sure if Kopitar went down with injury he would get the jump to the 1st line with Kempe, Byfield and his point totals would climb a bit more.

I wonder if a Kings fan could chime in if they noticed any inconsistency with play or taking games off by PLD as I don’t watch much Kings games?

Take care of Vilardi Jets, He’s out for a month or so each season but just make sure it’s not during the spring and hell put up the numbers and be lethal in playoffs!

WOW! This is quite literally the first time I’ve heard that PLD is not having a great season but Iafallo and Galadriel are. Have you thought about spamming this on all the hockey subreddits a couple times a day until PLD gets better?

So many people are equating points to success on this trade. Pld plays third line center in la, he was never acquired for points output. Vilardi plays with the top line, he should be scoring points. He was never gonna have the chance to do that in LA. And he’s super sour about not being in LA anymore if you read literally anything he says about the team or the trade. And who could blame him?

In fact, it is more lopsided that the illustration.

The Winnipeg Jets traded Laine and Roslovic for PLD. Then traded PLD for Vilardi, Iafallo and Kupari.

So in the end they traded Laine and Roslovic for Vilardi, Iafallo and Kupari.

Laine and Roslovic have 17 points total and Vilardi and Iafallo have 30.

Funny, I never really like PLD after his little tantrum in CBJ, and wasn’t real impressed when the Jets traded for him. Then he wanted out, and has been mid-at-best in LA, and I’m enjoying it.

Laine more or less did the same, wanting out and putting the GM over a barrel, has gone to CBJ and pretty much honked, but I feel bad, and have absolutely no ill will towards the kid. I’d like to see him do well.

But holy smokes, am I impressed with the return we got for PLD! These guys are *good*!

Vilardi has always looked like the best player on the ice, every time I watch them play…. When he has stayed healthy to in fact, play.

I do miss Laine unfortunately injuries have somewhat detailed his career but PLD always left me expecting more. Dont miss him at all!

PLD was the most expensive pinecone Blake has ever bought
