Travis dermott is the first player to use pride tape on his hockey stick since the nhl banned the use of pride tape a week ago. This puts the league in an awkward spot, if dermott gets fined it looks bad on them.

The nhl should not force players to wear pride tape, jerseys etc. But they should not prevent them either.

I love it. bettman went out of his way to ban all groups including LGBT, military appreciation, mental health, and Black history support without a care that those sticks are auctioned off for the non profits the NHL works with. Bettman is the worst commissioner in all US pro sports.
