Let me know your thoughts on these 2 trades
Don’t mind it . But Vancouver is interesting, as a Leafs fan it worries me they will have the courage to do the hard trades to hit the next level , Leaf’s will just be the same old leafs ,
Love the show
Tatar was Habs best point getter what 3 to 4 year's ago?
Shane isn’t coming up and Kartye isn’t going down. Those were just LTIR gymnastics. Having some scoring depth to fill the winger hole is a good idea
The dumbest fing trade by Chris MacFarland. Tatar was on a team friendly deal, and just started to play well for us. Wtf would the Avs trade this guy away? MacFarland is a dumba$$.
great chance for Studnicka in San Jose, could become steady contributor
Tatar also bring some defense to Seattle forward lines as well as pitch in scoring?
We will probably see a few minor trades before the NHL trade freeze. The NHL's annual holiday trade freeze begins at 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 19 and ends at 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 28.
Thanks for the update Mike!
Re: Tatar: he'll be a valuable addition to the Kraken. He had a great season in NJ and has been floundering with the Avs. He was a great player for Habs a few years back on a line with Gally & Danault. Good luck "Tataaaaar"😊
I feel like Tatar has been underpaid his whole career, i know this year he is having a super rough start, but every other season i mean.
I love the Seattle Colorado trade for both teams. It wasn't working in Colorado, so they free up 1.5 Million in cap space to make another move and even got a late round pick. I don't think Colorado will miss Tatar and whatever they do with the cap space down the road could very well be a huge deal. For Seattle I love it too. They have the cap space. They have a number of injuries and even if the big contracts come off IR they can move a couple league min guys down to cover Tatar, so there's no situation where they're in a big issue, and if Schwartz can come off LTIR and other's are injured they can move them to LTIR. I don't forsee the situation where Tatar is any worse than what they've got at the bottom of their roster, and there's a lot more opportunity in Seattle than Colorado, so he could potentially make a big difference for Seattle. Worst case for them is he's the same as all the people they've been rotating in from Coachella and they're no worse off, they draft in the top 5 and Tatar is off the books next year (which is where they're trending pre-trade). Best case, it turns things around and they're able to snag the last wild card spot.
