  1. Injuries aside, Habs are better this year than last year. Promising trends. 5 points out of 6 on this road trip. I consider the next 3 or 4 games as a seperate road trip.

  2. Too much coffee buddy, too much coffee … haha… 🤣

Love how the team is playing atm. No complaints from me. Have a Merry Christmas to you and your family and all the best for 2024. GHG

  3. Matheson overrated? No. I will say he is playing better now that Savard is back (not that he was playing bad before)

Hutson….so conflicted with this guy. Pre Game today with Canada/US….he made a hell of a stretch pass that lead to a goal. I want to cheer for Hutson…..but not against Canada!

Stephens, first NHL goal with the Habs. He had 3 for TB back 19/20 season

  4. "over paid babies" that was fricken classic good sir…. Merry Christmas to you and yours .. great way to give us all an early Christmas gift team… GHG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Imagine if everyone stayed healthy this season, we’d probably be in a playoff spot before Christmas

  6. On the defensive line up, I am torn. On one hand, I want Xhekaj back, on the other, I want the others to stay as well, including Savard and Matheson for both their mentorship and the small chance that we might make the playoffs afterall. Good problem to have I suppose.

Ghule, Reinbacher, Hutson, Mailloux, Xhekaj, Struble, Harris, Barron, Engstrom, Norlinder (especially after this pre-season); are all good options for the future. Kovacevic, Savard and Matheson will probably have to go in due time to make room for them in a few years, and some will have to get traded, hopefully for more offensive talent. Can't wait for Dach to return and help with this.

  7. crosby announced he's gonna end his carrier at canadiens, after his contract ends at penguins
now imagine trading caufield, ghoulie, montebleu + 1st round pick for draisaitl
    slafkovsky crosby draisaitl
    monahan suzuki roy

  8. With my pessimistic comments regards to MSL, the rebuilding process, and the Habs "system"…I will give credit when credit is due.  I was one who thought Struble might be moved bc of his similarity style to Xhekaj and glut with left Dmen, but happy the Habs gave him a shot to see what they have and now he has to be an untouchable. Pairing the Matheson&Savard together seems to have brought out another level in Matheson's play. Barron is still beginning to struggle but I am definitely willing to give him time to continue to learn and get stronger…glad to see Guhle getting back to playing his regular steady Dman role. Even Mitchell Stephens…I questioned his choice of call up and use but happy to see him get his first goal as a Hab. And I would like fans to give Burrows some credit for helping improve our PP. I like Burrows…I think he has a good hockey mind like MSL with lots of NHL player experience. Altho I'd still like to see the Habs add an experienced coach to help out this inexperienced group. I realize it was only a win versus Chicago so no playoff/Stanley Cup thoughts but it's definitely positive seeing certain young players progressing and the team playing better as a team.

  9. J'ai aimé ton intro Hommage a ( Chris Farley living in a van down by the river). You make good video keep going happy Christmas to you and all Habs Fans.

  10. imagine how he is gonna be in 3-4 years.he will be like cam neely and eric lindros or rick nash.he is allready impressive at 19, at 25 he will be a scoring machine,he will score many many goals for us.and he is a great kid too ,slaf is made for montreal.he will be a terror very soon.he will be better then wright and cooley together…excellent pick by kent hughes…again..if only he could fired napoleon st -louis,our narcissic arrogant peewee coach who only thinks of his personnal stats…worst coach ever for a rebuilding team. im sure gally, monahan, armia ,dvorak, anderson , ylonen and compagny are very happy to play 27 seconds a game on power plays !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.and dach is out for the year,if he was there nobody would play during the power plays except the first line.wake up kent and jeff !!!

  11. 1. I love your channel Drew, 2. Slaf lightened up lots of Slovak's hearts thus I ended up following Canadiens and will never regret it 🙂 3. Slaf's sealing is somewhere like 70 points, he is capable of much more but he is an unselfish team player, you watch and you understand, that 1st line now is like wow, with Dach and Newhook and young prospects I do really believe Habs are contenders in the future if you Habs fans calm down and be patient 🙂 4. Mike Matheson- at first I thought this guy was making so many mistakes in the defense but now he is my favorite player, pls do not trade him, 5. The coach is amazing, give him time pls, 6. Yes, WE also need Xhekaj for Habs when ready to be calmer :-), 7th. Lane Hudson and David Reinbacher will be great, main goal is to keep Marty and be patient. x

  12. I'm sorry but it's driving me bonkers hearing people say oh, mtl fans know it's a rebuilding year and don't expect to win. Excuse me, WHAT?? Might as well be a Leafs fan ffs with that loser mentality. Yes, I know they are rebuilding AND I want them to win and play like they want to win. I plan for the parade every year and frankly don't want to hear players resign themselves to just getting by. I don't think so. Go habs go, never give up ❤
