Good defensive effort this game. And nice to see Timo starting to heat up. But this team cannot contend with VV in net. Every single high danger shot goes in. Rebounds are completely out of control. Fletcher needs to address this.

What a much needed win man. Timo with 3 goals in 2 games. He got sick of this sub’s “we need to trade Timo” and “we lost the Timo trade posts”. Hopefully those guys can get out now.
I honestly really like these lines. Obviously Toff Jack Bratt is great, but Timo McLeod Mercer was completely cooking. Swap Holtz to the 2nd line and Lazar to the 4th line and I think we got our best line combo.

This game absolutely shouldn’t have come down to the wire against a team down 2 players with an AHL goalie on a back to back, but it just feels good to win one. I’m convinced Timo’s back despite what I said in the first. Mikey has turned into such an anchor since last season. Haula made a real impact even without scoring. Hell yea Devilbros

Good win, but you can’t struggle or lose against teams worse than you or against AHL/ECHL goalies. Take the 2, but over 30 games in and they still haven’t played a complete full 60 min game. This isn’t sustainable

This was a must win not because the season would be over if we lost, but to give the fans a reason to believe we’re still in it. Lots of problems to clean up in all areas of their game, but getting a win at home before the break was big. I won’t stop watching this team. I just hope they can make it worth it in the second half of the season.
