  1. I can get behind the rebuild but the complete breakdown in penalties against and utterly lackluster performance of defense should be eye opening for the Blackhawks defensive staff. Just enough to sell tickets. Not enough to win. St. Louis got off easy.

  2. As a Hawks fan, that was a difficult comeback by the Blues to watch, however I'm having a great time watching a generational talent like Bedard do what he does. That, and I'll gladly take another top 3 draft pick this summer.. It may be tough to watch the Hawks lose, but you can see the talent – and this team is going to be insanely good in a couple of seasons. As a Hawks fan for over 45 years now, games like this are merely growing pains – but watching Bedard is certainly a treat, because he's going to own the NHL in a few years. I mean the kid is only 18, barely 25 games into his NHL career and he was confident enough to attempt "The Michigan Goal" let alone score on it?? WOW! that's really ballsy for a rookie to try, let alone succeed… So yea, this is a tough loss but watching Bedard and the younger guys like Korshinski develop makes it worth it and makes every Hawks fan know that this team being "terrible" is only temporary – because you can start to see the type of chemistry this team will have in a few years with these kids, not only that but after the Hawks start signing top UFA's again.

  3. Times for upper management to start looking at this Hawks coaching staff. No structure in their D and continuing to put players out there who are not NHLers. Zero progress also since Richardson took over.
