  1. Never had any doubt LA had this game. Just one of those games where LA controlled the pace the whole game. Calgary was lucky to have as many power plays as they did. Referees calling 10 minutes worth of penalties on LA in 15 minutes is ridiculous. It's like they wanted Calgary to tie the game. At least call it both ways.

  2. Byfield moving that fast is crazy when he's 6'5" or whatever. And that defenseman bomb from the line was nuts, too hot for Markström to handle. Love watching him play!

  3. Big home win for the Kings going into the break. The penalty kill continues to be a massive factor for them, and while you'd like to see the power play be a little more effective, they don't necessarily need it win games. Props to Markstrom too. He allowed 4 goals, but it could've been much worse for the Flames had he not played the way he did.

    Back to .500 at home for the Kings. Need to keep doing that if we want to stay at the top.
