Corey Perry is absolutely not going to play on the second line. He's lost his touch, he won't score much. 3rd liner or 4th liner

a lot of people are saying this was bad for us because we're signing old veterans and stuff like that, but nobody is thinking about the scoring depth this adds, Dickinson looked really good with Zucc and Hintz, so I think adding Pavs helps. aside from that, nobody is talking about the Stars don't really have anyone that could truthfully be a good captain for the Stars other than Benn, yes Seguin and Klingberg have the A but they wouldn't be good captains. we've now added 2 more players who can fill leadership roles and have extensive playoff experience as leaders. plus with the addition of Sekara as well, potentially a top 6 of Lindell and klingberg. Heiskanen and Johns. and Polak and Sekara (with Fedun every once in a while), not to mention Bayreuther and Gleason are very close and we have some good forward prospects that are also really close. this team will get over the second round hump this year.

Pavelski looks like hes in the same role as Guy Carbonneau… older player who knows how to get sh*t done and knows how to make a good team better. Plus, Perry's contract 1yr from now solely depends on his performance this year with less weight on his shoulders. Making some great moves in my opinion
