when people praised the Timo trade but called the Horvat trade horrible and claimed he's 'overpaid'… makes me laugh every time. Horvat has grown into one of my favorite players very quickly!
Horvat doesn’t just make barzal better but barzal makes horvat better. On top of Dobson being a wagon and the nelson line producing as well
Overpaid contract wise but trade value was fair It was a deal that benefitted both Van and Isles. Vancouver got a legit defense partner for Hughes out of it. Vancouver is the top team in the NHL as of today. Isles got a decent replacement for Tavares and Both teams are doing well now this year.
Islanders suck and the Canucks are better off without him. The record speaks for itself. Brock took his spot on the power play and it’s much better now
Tavares better win the Cup for Toronto, otherwise a big blemish in his career (leaving Long Island).
Point per game players make 8-9 mil i dont know why thats hard for people to understand.
That being said im very happy both vancouver and new york won this trade.

i dont believe in the isles.
They're second in the division but their GF /GA is MINUS FOUR. wtf…how do you get minus four when you're second? oh its because they have 9 pts from OT losses. What that tells me is that the games played that dont go to OT is relatively a large small number to their overall games and they're being outplayed in the majority of those games.
So ovearll, the Isles either play a game that's close (goes ot OT) or a game where they're outplayed driving minus score
