Bruins have looked great across the board
The Bruins are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.17 goals per game. David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand have scored 32 goals and 38 assists to lead the top line but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Charlie Coyle, James van Riemsdyk, and Pavel Zacha have combined for 24 goals and 39 assists while defensemen Charlie McAvoy and Kevin Shattenkirk have added five goals and 20 assists from the point to open up the offense.
The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Bruins, allowing only 2.57 goals per game. Brandon Carlo and Hampus Lindholm have combined for 4.5 defensive point shares and 97 blocked shots while Charlie McAvoy and Kevin Shattenkirk have combined for 1.9 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Jeremy Swayman has been incredible with a .933 save percentage and a 2.06 goals-against average on 451 shots with 13.5 goals saved above average.

Jets are carried by great defense
The Jets are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.35 goals per game with 18 goals in the last four games. Mark Scheifele, Nikolaj Ehlers, and Cole Perfetti have scored 33 goals and 47 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Nino Niederreiter, Mason Appleton, and Alex Iaffalo have combined for 19 goals and 29 assists while defenseman Josh Morrissey has added five goals and 23 assists from the point, making the offense tough to stop.
The offense has been great but the defense has led the way for the Jets, allowing only 2.58 goals per game including only 11 goals in the last five games. Josh Morrissey and Dylan DeMelo have combined for 5.1 defensive point shares and 98 blocked shots while Brenden Dillon, Dylan Samberg, and Neal Pionk have combined for 4.6 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has been great with a .916 save percentage and a 2.43 goals-against average on 666 shots with 8.2 goals saved above average.

Rating:
The Jets are looking to step up on their home ice but I see the Bruins bouncing back from two rough losses and taking over this game. The Bruins, who average 3.17 goals per game, should find the back of the net at will with David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand, and the rest of the forward unit controlling the puck in the offensive zone and creating open shots with quick passes. The Bruins should also limit the Jets’ offense with Hampus Lindholm, Charlie McAvoy, and the rest of the defensive unit creating turnovers in the defensive zone and limiting shots on the net, allowing goaltender Jeremy Swayman to make plenty of big saves. The Bruins should win the game with a strong performance on the road.

Prediction: Bruins WIN
