  1. That was a good decision. But, when will the Habs show the same common sense? The prospects are not improving. They are actually declining. And, they are not winning. It is ludicrous to believe that MSL can develop the prospects when he has ZERO experience in player development. In the 3 years since becoming coach, the HABS have become worse. Tell me how having MSL as coach has done anything positive for the HABS.

  2. i notice the social and sports media aren't crapping all over the senators organization for how this was handled. everybody knew when martin came in it was curtains for smith. they let the sword hang over his head since december the 6th.

  3. They should be playing at least as good as my Wings they have a lot of young talent on that team. Even though we're becoming rivals i really hope they turn things around of the Canadian teams in the east i like them the most and really like watching them play when they are on their game

  4. While I agree with The Firing of DJ Smith, I don't completely blame him, especially due to the Questionable Moves that were made by Pierre Dorian, such as Getting Alex DeBrincat from The Chicago Blackhawks, only to not resign him & trade him to The Detroit Red Wings for Dominik Kubalic, among other things, and other moves. Let me know what you think

  5. It was probably a fun, loose practice because he knew he was getting canned. Why put in the effort if your going to be shown the door in an hour?

  6. I feel like the "fun practice" was probably just a chance to say bye to everyone. They (Staios and/or Andlauer) probably told him before that practice that he was done, and just gave him a last chance to bit the guys farewell and good luck.

  7. May not a disney movie but I am almost certain the mighty ducks would've beat us even before they were good.
