Most Leafs fans don't know or care. I'm not surprised either though. Media have in the past said that they won't vote for Leafs players in NHL awards because the ballots are published. This all is likely a twitter specific overreaction to that and the constant attacks on the Leafs fan base in comment sections after every video, article and piece of media that can be responded to. If you doubt that, look up Leafs videos and read the comments, then look at video's on any other team. It doesn't matter which Leafs videos comments you look at.
What Toronto fans don't realize ..is that they are adding fuel to caufield by not voting for him. He will come to the NHL with a vengeance against the leafs and their laughable defense. Oh and btw… Toronto's window for the cup is closing for good after this year.. and even this year.. after the Ottawa blow out.. I can tell you the leafs are very talented.. with a LOSER attitude.. it's a great one to add to your very impressive collection of loses and embarrassments. Have you considered quitting hockey?
