  1. I don't understand how saying no comment is a bad thing. If he doesn't know what to say, then what do you want him to do? Lie? Exaggerate? Or throw shade at him? Sometimes, we don't always have words to describe how we feel about something. Shocking, I know.

  2. He said nothing bad, and nothing good, hockey fans are the worst people of all time, why would u make a video highlighting this, he did nothing wrong, ur the one in the wrong here

  3. I disagree. It's not like he said anything wrong or untrue. He shouldn't have to blow smoke for PR and getting booed is rough. I get Berube led them to their 1st Stanley Cup win, but Babcock won a Stanley Cup yet we all can recognize that he's toxic and petty af. Berube is in the past but Kyrou is there right now and it's not like he trashed him. He just said didn't want to speak about it.

  4. This was just the straw that broke the back for fans. His +- last year was horrible. Kyrou, O’Reilly, and Parayko we’re all near the bottom five midway last season with a lot of lack luster play. As a team there were a lot of guys just displaying horrible body language on the bench and sometimes on ice. Fans could not understand how we could go from a 100 point team to near the bottom of the league and losing so many key players. Something was very off last year and some players responded. Thomas, Parayko, and Binnington have all raised their level of play but some guys haven’t. Kyrou is slumping compared to his 21-22 self and if he was paid less this wouldn’t have been such a big deal to many fans but for him to be earning what he does and having the body language on bench and ice he has he’s really made an enemy of a lot of season ticket holders. My family loved watching him in person over the seasons but he definitely has his moments where he is just not playing both ends of the ice like he did in the past. His shooting percentage is also 2nd worst on the team for players with more than 1 goal. He is playing more like a 3rd line or 4th line player than an 8 million dollar a year 1st line forward. Do I think he should have been boo’d no because you NEVER EVER boo your own players or team under any circumstances. You either cheer, shut up, or let your money speak volumes to the ownership. I do believe he will be key to the long term success for our team either through production or trade value. If neither is met and he tanks, a lot of fans might be shocked when leadership finally starts listening to trade offers for Binnington come trade deadline and a full multiyear rebuild takes hold. Fans need to get behind this kid and cheer him on or it’s going to only get worse.

  5. There was a lot of good players the Blues could’ve kept if he wasn’t given that salary. Kyrou has done nothing and his attitude sucks. No passion for the game. I think he just got what was coming.

  6. the outrageous reaction doesn't match the weight of the comment. why does "i have no comment, he's not my coach anymore" call for an apology?

  7. Kyrou is gonna be okay. I was thinking about going to the Blues game against the Starts tommorow just to root for him and I have pretty much sworn against going but Kyrou and the Blues deserve a loud cheer. GM is obviously an asshat for firing Berube on the account of his own mistakes of the quality of players he put on the ice. Regardless, Blues just lost their couch and are going through alot. They do need their fans to be on their side. Hopefully I hear some applause for Kyrou.

  8. He’s a stupid ungrateful overpaid punk. Players who don’t perform to expectation get coaches fired. Kyrou hasn’t earned the right to make that comment.

  9. This is not a lesson that's on the fans because I am sure that comment he said at the beginning was just showing that he is moved on from his old coach

  10. Well said, Johnny Hawkey, Kyrou got the point. Now fans and Kyrou will turn the page. Bet ya this lesson will give Kyrou a fresh and well-needed restart.

  11. the fans have a right to voice their opinion. if they aren't happy I don't see why it's controversial for them to express just that. give it a bit of time and they'll have moved on

  12. It's not just the comment he made about Berube. It's the fact that he's getting paid 8 mil a year and in the minds of Blues fan is the reason why we didn't have enough mula to re-sign Perron and give another go with the team that almost beat the Av's. All-in-all Armstrong is the one who put Kyrou in this position and put Berube in the position of having a crappy roster. I don't think you would've heard nearly as many boo's if Kyrou were signed to a more reasonable contract and thus not seen as part of the the actual roster-sucking problem that lead to Berube being Armstrong's scapegoat.

  13. Always say what you believe to be true no matter what the consequence you’ll have the adventure of your life and that’s more important than The reaction of the many sure what he said wasn’t nice, but it would’ve been a betrayal to himself to not say what he believed.

  14. No heart, no forechecking skills, can't hold onto the puck for more than 2 seconds, gets pushed off the puck, no checking, flybys, no slapshot, no one-timer, doesn't crash the net, can't pass the puck, no checking, no defense, 2nd worst +/- rating last year and all that for $8 million. That's why. But anyone thinks otherwise we've got a winger, a gm, and a vp of hockey operations we can trade ya. Blues fans understand the game very well and this isn't a kid, he's in his prime. Should be putting up points, not crying for being booed. Garbage player. Bring back Berube, fire Armstrong!
