Zaitsev, Brown, Gardiner, and Marleau gone. They get Spezza and a few depth guys. I could see Kadri being traded since they got Spezza so they will be at 12 million for Marner. Trading Hyman will only put them at 10 so Hyman and Petan or someone will have to be traded to be at 11 million. I believe a team will offer him 11 million. So If they want to match that offer Kadri needs to be traded or Hyman and Petan or someone. That's alot of loss so have fun adjusting to that Leafs.

Dubas should have trade Nylander to Vancouver. They are in a buying mode. But this uneducated guy gave him a verbal no trade. This team is doomed. How are they going to find a defenceman. Will missed the playoffs next year.

for everyone shitting on Dubas – he has moved the unmoveable contracts of Marleau and Zaitsev that Lou left him. He re-signed both Kap and Johnsson for barely more than what Marleau was being paid. He's made a ton of room under the cap for Marner and there's still lots of time to upgrade the blue line with a trade. All he's given up so far is a mediocre 4th liner in Brown. What more could you possibly want
Would like to see Mitch stay in Toronto, but if he is offer-sheeted you have to think about the cap space that's freed up for D acquisitions. If Marner signs with the Leafs trade Nylander for D help.
