Today as the Dallas Stars came into Nashville, we learned that The Hockey Gods are undoubtably REAL! See, late in the first period the Stars had the Predators down and out, in a frenzy Johnston shot and it was stopped in a tremendous effort from the captain, Josi. Getting behind his goalie and flashing the leather so to speak, he came up with a huge glove stop to keep the puck out. Only problem is he caught it, in the crease and then chucked it back out. That, is a penalty. We saw it just the night before with Wotherspoon getting a penalty, but not here. The Script had been written though and the Hockey Gods wouldn’t let it go that easy as we saw one of the most incredible late period comebacks you will ever see. The Dallas Stars would score 2 goals in 13 seconds to not just tie it, but WIN it in regulation. I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video!

Double standard refs show how stupid they are. A penalty in Winnipeg and not in Nashville. Hockey sucks and guys are getting hurt. Just wait until someone ends up seriously hurt or dead. Mark my words.
WHAT A GAME TO TRAVEL TO AS A STARS FAN! I was about 8 rows back right by the goal the Stars shot on in the 3rd period and it was pure insanity what happened!

Think about it, if ONE person had done something different with the puck the entire game, the game would've been a completely different one. We will never know what would have happened, only what did.
That should have been a straight up goal, not just penalty shot. That puck was going in, and only thing thing stopped it was Josi's glove. Same thing with throwing stick to the front of puck that's clearly sliding in.

That shouldve been either a penalty shot or two minute minor. The refs were clearly ignoring the rules in an attampt to help nashville win. The stars screwed em up though.
Refs have been brutal this season
At the very least what Josi did should be a handpass. He touched to puch with his hand, and the next person who touched it was his teammate. That's a hand pass isn't it.

What is it with the Stars? I remember them beating my beloved Bruins in regulation…with Boston up by TWO goals with about 45 seconds left in the 3rd.

I'm a Stars fan and I tuned out because I thought Nashville scored when they hit the post. I will not do that again after missing this awesome turn of events.

I dunno what to say about the officials any more. This is crazy. That was an obvious penalty shot and has been for over a decade. There's really no excuse.
Even a youth hockey referee knows that a skater gloving the puck in the crease is a penalty shot. Pro Sports officiating is getting worse.
Moral of the story: Don't piss of Johnny Hockeypuck. He'll absolutely score some sneaky-ass goals on you.
